Integrity is the basis of our actions |
Integrity and value-based compliance are an indispensable part of our day-to-day business and our self-image. We adhere to rules and laws and have a common internal, ethical set of values to which we align our actions in all areas.
Corporate Guideline
The Hädener corporate guideline complements our obligation to fulfil all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The company guideline is binding for all employees, regardless of hierarchy. It reflects our commitment to internationally recognised standards and follows the principles set out in the Base Code of the Ethical Trading Initiative - the ‘ETI Base Code’ - and is aligned with the economic, social and ethical standards declared by Sedex.

Code of Conduct
We expect compliance with internationally recognised standards and rights along the entire value chain. Our Code of Conduct for Suppliers and Business Partners summarises our requirements regarding respect for human rights, compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

Whistleblower system
Compliance with laws, internal rules and guidelines as well as our Code of Conduct is our top priority. It is therefore important that we learn of any misconduct on the part of our employees, suppliers and business partners as early as possible. The whistleblower system gives us the opportunity to rectify misconduct very quickly, prevent damage and improve processes.
To protect whistleblowers, affected parties and employees involved in an investigation, we have set up a procedure to ensure that reports and further communication can take place anonymously. We assure you that we will not take any measures to find out the identity of the whistleblower unless our system is abused. All information will be processed in a fair and expeditious manner. The presumption of innocence applies to the accused until the matter has been clarified and an offence has been proven.
If you wish to make a report of misconduct, you can contact an independent ombudsman’s office.
